Leading Vietnamese conglomerate Sun Group officially assumed the management and operation of Phu Quoc International Airport on Thursday, a major shift in the administration of one of southern Vietnam's busiest aviation gateways as the island prepares for large-scale international events, including the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in 2027.
