The Tennessee theme park stopped allowing visitors on January 5 and continued to be closed until March 13. Cold temperatures have a significant role, as situations “can compromise safety” when ride systems fall outside needed ranges. In recent weeks, guests experienced shortened hours and the sudden closing of the Dollywood Express for maintenance.
