After a nine-year run, “Stranger Things” ended with Vecna’s defeat, Eleven’s uncertain fate, and the closing of the basement door, the latter of which the creators had in mind for quite some time.  The coming-of-age horror story aired its final episode on Wednesday, Dec. 31, on a bittersweet and emotional high.
