Cabinet Secretary TV Somanathan stated that the Pragati platform has "accelerated implementation of both projects and welfare schemes". Addressing the media, Mr Somanathan revealed that the system has covered over 3,300 projects worth Rs 85 lakh crore. He clarified that Pragati is "not confined to projects" but also reviews 61 government schemes, including the 'One Nation, One Ration Card' and 'Swachh Bharat Mission'. Furthermore, the Cabinet Secretary noted that 36 classes of grievances, such as those related to RERA and banking, have been taken up. He emphasized that these reviews focus on "classes of grievances" rather than individual complaints, citing examples like issues related to the coronavirus epidemic and the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.
