Kandla Port is set to play a leading role in strengthening India’s shipbuilding industry as part of the Prime Minister’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. Sushil Kumar Singh, Chairman, DPA say the focus will be on building a robust shipbuilding ecosystem to boost manufacturing, employment and economic growth in the Kutch region. The initiative positions Kandla as a key maritime growth hub in western India.
