LDA seals 88 properties in various schemes

LAHORE: In an operation against illegal commercial buildings and commercial fees defaulters, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed 88 properties in various schemes. According to LDA here on Friday, in an effort to combat illegal commercial buildings and recover outstanding commercial fees, the Authority mobilised its Town Planning Wing. The LDA teams operated in key locations, including Faisal Town, New Garden Town, Gulshan Ravi, Qila Laxman Singh, Audit and Accounts Scheme, and Defence Road. They sealed 20 properties in Faisal Town and New Garden Town, while 11 properties were sealed in Gulshan Ravi and Qila Laxman Singh for illegal commercial use and failure to pay commercial fees. Additionally, 32 properties in the Audit and Accounts Scheme and 25 properties on Defence Road were sealed during the recovery operation. The sealed properties comprised various establishments, such as private schools, beauty salons, auto workshops, clinics, pharmacies, restaurants, food stalls, grocery stores, shops, and offices.
