Trips of small vessels in northern Quezon suspended due to rough seas

LUCENA CITY – The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Saturday morning suspended trips of small sea vessels in the northern part of Quezon province due to rough sea conditions. In an advisory issued by the PCG–Northern Quezon based in Real town, the agency cited the 5 a.m. weather forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), which reported that “strong to gale-force winds associated with the northeast monsoon were prevailing or expected to affect” the northern coast of Quezon.
