LUCENA CITY – Volcanic earthquakes and tremors continued to be recorded at Taal Volcano in Batangas province, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported Saturday. In its morning bulletin, Phivolcs reported that it recorded 25 volcanic earthquakes and six volcanic tremors, each lasting from one to seven minutes, over the past 24 hours. On Thursday, the agency logged 51 volcanic earthquakes and 13 tremors. However, no seismic activity was detected the following day, indicating a brief period of calm.
