Joe Raedle/Getty Images President Donald Trump has revealed that the United States is going to take over Venezuela after capturing its autocratic leader Nicholas Maduro. In a move that is likely to spark a significant backlash against the so-called “America First” president, Trump also revealed plans to seize the country’s oil reserves, saying it would be up to the United States to decide when to return the country to Venezuelan control. “We’re going to run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition,” an exhausted-looking Trump said during a wild press conference in Mar-a-Lago.
