ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke on phone with the Foreign Ministers of Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates and discussed with them the evolving situation in Yemen and the region. Dar, who is in Beijing on an official visit called for adopting a policy of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve all contentious issues. In telephonic conversation, Ishaq Dar and Hakan Fidan, the Foreign Minister of Türkiye, discussed the evolving regional situation arising from the Yemen unrest. According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office on Saturday, the two leaders appreciated the “earnest efforts” undertaken by all parties to resolve issues through dialogue and diplomacy. Ishaq Dar also expressed the desire to enhance bilateral cooperation with Türkiye in all areas of mutual interest, including trade, technology, tourism, and information technology.
