After the US captured Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro, the Supreme Court on Sunday appointed Vice President Delcy Rodrigues to take charge of the administration to ensure continuity and safeguard the nation's overall defence. The court ruling ?said that ?Ms. Rodríguez would assume "the office of President of the Bolivarian Republic of ‌Venezuela, in order to ‌guarantee administrative continuity and the comprehensive ‍defense of the Nation."
