MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Metro Manila and Laguna will have power interruptions this week due to maintenance works, Meralco said on Sunday. In Metro Manila, some areas in Muntinlupa, specifically in Brgy. Alabang, Bayanan, Putatan, and Tunasan, will have no power on January 6-7 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. due to the replacement of poles and installation of additional lightning protection devices along Bautista St. in Bgy. Bayanan. Also, some areas in Project 4, Quezon City will have a power interruption on January 10 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of line reconstruction works and replacement of electricity poles along Magat Salamat St. in Brgy. Bagumbuhay. In Laguna, several areas in Pila, Sta. Cruz, Nagcarlan, and Victoria will have no electricity on January 6 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. because of the installation of an electricity pole and line reconstruction works along Pila – Victoria National Road in Bgy. San Antonio and Brgy. Sta. Clara Sur in Pila. A portion of Quezon Ave. in Sta. Cruz, Laguna will have no electricity on January 7-8 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the installation of an electricity pole and the upgrading of electricity facilities there.
