SSP Operations Faisalabad visit FCCI

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad would be transformed into a peaceful, safe and secure industrial hub to attract maximum local and foreign investment with the active cooperation of the business community, said Muhammad Furqan Bilal, SSP Operations Faisalabad. He visited Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) to have an introductory meeting with President Farooq Yousaf Sheikh. He said that changed “Thana” Culture has played a key role in cultivating cordial and friendly relations between the police and people at large. He endorsed the concern of Farooq Yousaf about bogus cheques and said that this issue would be brought into the notice of the City Police Officer. He further said that Chinese working in FIEDMC would be ensured enhanced security and in this connection a special police desk has been established. “This desk would not only register the Chinese investors and workers but also facilitate them in arranging bullet proof vehicles for inter and intra city movement. He also requested President FCCI to play his role for the registration of labour employed in different industrial units of M3 and Allama Iqbal Industrial Estates. Earlier Farooq Yousaf Sheikh, President welcomed the SSP Operations and introduced Faisalabad and FCCI. He said that it is his prime duty to simultaneously eliminate trust and trade deficit for an economically stable and sustained Pakistan. He said that Faisalabad was ignored despite its economic importance, however Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar has restarted development works throughout the division. He said that the scope of a safe city project should be expanded to monitor and control the crimes. He thanked SSP Operations and his team for visiting FCCI and said that another planned meeting would be arranged very soon which would be attended by the leading businessmen representing different trade and business associations.
