Launching at CES 2026, the Aura Reach is the latest smart lock from Kwikset and includes both Bluetooth and Matter-over-Thread for wide compatibility across platforms, including Apple Home . Releasing in early 2026, the Aura Reach looks like a traditional smart lock with an exterior-facing keyhole and a built-in touch keypad that automatically illuminates as you approach. "Kwikset provides best-in-case mechanical install," said Jeff Sandoval, director of electronics marketing at Kwikset. "Aura Reach represents the next evolution of Kwikset's Matter innovation. Our simple setup complements Matter's ease of use by providing education and guided onboarding." The lock is effortless to install and one of three smart locks Kwikset offers with Matter support.
