An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 struck Assam on Monday morning. The tremor was felt in Morigaon district. An elderly woman sustained head injuries while evacuating her home. She was taken to Morigaon Civil Hospital for treatment. No other major damage has been reported across the state. The earthquake's epicenter was located in central Assam.
