Starting January 1, 2026, the cost to apply for an Aadhaar PVC card will increase from Rs 50 to Rs 75. This revision, the first since 2020, is due to rising operational expenses for materials, printing, and secure delivery. The durable PVC card holds the same legal validity as other Aadhaar formats.
