UP graduate tops Bar exams; 5,594 of 11, 425 pass

MANILA, Philippines — A student from the University of the Philippines topped the 2025 Bar Examinations, the Supreme Court said on Wednesday. Jhenroniel Rhey Timola Sanchez obtained an average score of 92.70 percent. Close behind is Spinel Albert Allauigan Declaro of the University of Santo Tomas–Manila, who scored 92.46 percent. Supreme Court Associate Justice Amy C. Lazaro-Javier, chairman of the Court’s Committee on Bar Examinations, oversees the administration of the tests. The oath-taking and signing of the Roll of Attorneys is scheduled for Feb. 6.
