MANILA, Philippines – More than 200 electric bicycles and tricycles, or e-bikes and e-trikes, have been flagged down by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) since it began banning the vehicles from plying major highways in Metro Manila, the agency said on Wednesday. According to LTO chief Markus Lacanilao, the agency caught 114 vehicles when it began its implementation of the ban on Friday, Jan. 2.
