She was 'touched up' by a foreign man… cops threatened to arrest her boyfriend for going after him! - Reform UK slams 'crimewave London'

"Reform UK's mayoral candidate Laila Cunningham and party leader Nigel Farage slammed 'crime wave' London and Sadiq Khan's record at a launch event in the capital on Wednesday. Cunningham related a story about a woman she had met who had been allegedly 'touched up' by foreign men - but when their boyfriend had attempted to intervene, he himself had been warned off by the police. "She was being touched up by what she thinks was an Afghani man. And she called the police. The police turned up when she ended at the bus stop and they arrested him. The next morning, he was on that bus stop again," she said. "Another time on the bus she was touched up again by a foreign man, she gets to the end of the bus stop, her boyfriend and the police are waiting for her and the boyfriend tells the man you touch my girlfriend again, you rat, and I'm gonna you know, I'll sort you out. You know what the police said? If you talk to him like that again, we're going to have to arrest you for racial, on a public order act. They went after him," she alleged. Farage added: "London is now in the grip of a crime wave run by foreign criminal gangs, many of whom have come to this country illegally and frankly should not be here." The Metropolitan police have not commented on the claims made. Cunningham is set to take on Khan for the mayoralty in 2028. Khan has repeatedly clashed with US President Donald Trump, who dubbed him a 'national disgrace' and a 'disaster'. The incumbent has defended his record, saying there was 'no higher priority' than violent crime. "
