A weather alert was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 9:31 a.m. EST for dense fog until 11:45 a.m. EST for Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee and Lapeer counties.
