Microsoft has now made the “Expanded screen” feature available to all users of the Phone Link app in Windows 11. The update, which is being rolled out via the Microsoft Store (version 1.25112.36.0), allows Android apps to be mirrored on Windows and expanded to up to 90 percent of the desktop’s surface, reports Windows Latest . Android apps that ran on Windows 11 via Phone Link could previously only be displayed in a smaller window. The new “Expanded screen” feature instead allows them to run in a wider “almost full-screen” mode that’s more usable. However, some apps need to be restarted to work, while others may display blurry graphics in the larger format. The feature requires a compatible Android phone. Examples include Samsung S22 to S24 series, Honor Magic 4 Pro, OnePlus, Oppo, and some Xiaomi phones.
