LAHORE: The 34th annual Urs of renowned spiritual leader and Sufi scholar Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif will commence on 12th January at his shrine in Miani Sahib, Bahawalpur Road. The three-day event will feature a series of spiritual and cultural activities. The Urs will begin with the traditional chadar laying ceremony after Asr prayer, led by Sardar Nasrullah Khan Drishak. A special Durood o Salam gathering and Mehfil-e-Naat will follow in the evening.A seminar on Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif’s life and teachings will take place at Alhamra Hall No. 1, chaired by Sahibzada Moeen-ud-Din Mehboob Koreja on January 13. The night will feature a Mehfil-e-Sama at the shrine. On 14th January, an audio cassette session with recorded responses from Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif will be held.
