66 constables promoted in Lahore

LAHORE: As many as 66 Lahore police constables have been promoted to the rank of head constable after approval by the departmental promotion board. The promotions were approved during a meeting of the departmental promotion board chaired by DIG (Administration) Imran Kishore. SSP (Discipline) Atif Nazir and SP (Headquarters) Munazza Karamat were also members of the board. According to officials, 61 constables were promoted under Category C-I, while five were promoted under Category C-II. The promoted personnel are currently serving in operations, investigation, the security division and other units of Lahore police. Among those promoted in Category C-I were Dil Nawaz Amin, Shehzad Ali, Asghar Ali, Hassan Atta, Muhammad Khawar, Khalid Parvez, Muhammad Mubashir and Khalid Mohsin, while Ahmed Khan, Muhammad Ilyas, Liaquat and Ahmed Hassan were among those promoted in Category C-II.Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana congratulated the promoted officials and extended his best wishes. He urged them to discharge their duties with renewed zeal, professionalism and a heightened sense of responsibility in their new ranks. The CCPO said the promoted personnel would play an effective role in ensuring timely justice for citizens, adding that the department would continue to encourage officers and personnel demonstrating outstanding performance at all levels.
