The Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, is leading renewed efforts to establish a district office of the Narcotic Control Commission (NCC) in Salaga, citing the rising incidence of drug abuse among the youth and the challenges posed by the long distance to the Savannah Regional capital. She made the call while receiving a delegation from the NCC, led by the Savannah Regional Commander, Patricia Rashida Ewuntomah. According to the MP, the growing drug problem in the area poses a serious threat to the future of young people and requires urgent intervention.
