Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that women in Development of Women and Children in Rural Areas groups borrowed nearly Rs 47,000 crore from banks in FY25. He stressed the importance of strengthening these groups. The Chief Minister also distributed loans worth Rs 1,375 crore under the 'Stree Nidhi' scheme and Rs 2,171 crore to self-help groups.
