His post on Truth Social came less than two hours after five Republicans joined every Senate Democrat to vote 52 to 47 to advance the legislation in a stunning rebuke of the president. “Republicans should be ashamed of the Senators that just voted with Democrats in attempting to take away our Powers to fight and defend the United States of America,” Trump wrote.
