MANILA, Philippines — As the Quiapo Church held its 22nd fiesta mass celebrating the Feast of the Jesus Nazareno, 35,000 devotees flocked the area on Friday afternoon. The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office reported the data at 1 p.m. Fiesta Masses began at 3 p.m. on Thursday and are held hourly until Friday at 11 p.m. Devotees are also attending the mass via screens and speaker systems set up along the roads surrounding the church.
