Dewan Automotive Engineering Limited (DWAE) announced on Friday the appointment of its Chairman Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The development was shared in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today. The notice stated that Syed Maqbool Ali was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Ishtiaq Ahmad was appointed CEO. Ahmad, a commerce graduate from St. Patrick’s College, University of Karachi, joined the Pakistan Air Force in 1976. He was bestowed with many awards for meritorious services rendered to the Pakistan Air Force, Shaheen Foundation, PAF, and the insurance industry. DWAE, a part of Yousaf Dewan Companies, is engaged in the assembly-cum progressive manufacture and sale of tractors, light commercial vehicles and motorcycles and trading/manufacturing of parts and implements related thereto.
