Around 180,000 long-term unemployed lose their unemployment benefit starting this year. It’s not all happening at once, but gradually. People who have been unemployed for twenty years or more received their last unemployment benefit this month. In the Brussels municipality of Molenbeek, this affects more than 350 people. VRT’s Marjan Temmerman went to find out how Molenbeek social services are coping.
