PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur — The local government here has ramped up preparations for the feast of the Child Jesus or Señor Sto. N̈iño on the third Sunday of this month. Sto. Niño is the city’s patron, and its feast day traditionally draws hundreds of devotees from nearby localities, especially for the procession and fluvial parade.
