"Hundreds joined rally organised by South Korean civic groups in central Seoul on Saturday, to demand an immediate release of the captured President Nicolas Maduro and condemn US attack in Venezuela. Footage shows protesters marching towards the Jongno District where the US Embassy is located. The demonstrators carried placards among others reading: 'Fight against US imperialism' and 'Free president Maduro now'. "If there are difficulties in Venezuela, it is for the Venezuelan people themselves to address those. Trump's intervention is a violation of international law and an infringement on national sovereignty," Chan Hyuk Lee, a protester, said. This comes following the latest operation in Venezuela, which saw the US forces capture President Nicolas Maduro on January 3, raising international condemnation, particularly from several Latin American countries and members of the BRICS, including Russia and China."
