"Georgian rescuers evacuated skiers and snowboarders after an avalanche struck the Tetnuldi resort in the Svaneti region. Footage captured on Saturday shows emergency services personnel carrying a tourist down the mountainside on a stretcher. "A young Georgian woman was caught in the avalanche. <...> Thanks to the co-ordinated and quick actions of the group, she was dug out in just a minute and a half, with the help of the resort's rescue service," said Levan Kurdiani, head of the Tetnuldi rescue service. According to the rescuers, there were no casualties. They recommended visitors refrain from skiing alone or leaving prepared trails without special equipment, due to the ongoing threat of avalanches."
