CITY OF CALAPAN, Oriental Mindoro — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) rescued three people who were stranded by rising floodwaters beneath a bridge in Cajidiocan town in Romblon on Saturday, Jan. 10. The PCG said personnel from the Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Cajidiocan carried out the rescue after receiving a report that several individuals were trapped under Cambajao Bridge in Barangay Cambajao due to a sudden rise in river water levels and strong currents caused by continuous rainfall.
