Police said a man has died after a fire broke out in a Yuen Long residential unit early Sunday morning. Officers received multiple reports of the fire at around 6am in a flat at YOHO Town. Firefighters extinguished the blaze within approximately 20 minutes. A man and a woman were found unconscious and were rushed to hospital. Police said the man, who is around 50 years old, was then pronounced dead. More than 300 residents were evacuated from their homes during the incident, with officers saying that preliminary investigations point to a suspected electrical cause.
