'What we are seeing is similar to Nazi Germany!' - Mourners condemn ICE as dozens pay tribute to Renee Good in Berlin

"Mourners gathered in Berlin on Sunday to hold a solemn vigil in remembrance of Renee Nicole Good, who was shot and killed by an ICE officer in Minneapolis last week. Footage shows dozens of people paying tribute to Good, singing songs and laying wreaths and flowers in honour, while some attendees held signs reading 'ICE destroys American families' and 'ISIS, ICE, Terrorists!'. "The US has descended into fascism. That's why all of us are here today. I think a lot of people didn't want to see it for a long time. But when ICE is in the streets, shooting people who are not doing anything," said a mourner. Some attendees voiced concern about current policies under the Trump administration, drawing comparisons to the totalitarian rule of Nazi Germany between 1933 and 1945. "So this is a situation in which anyone who is not a supporter of Trump is in some degree of danger. And we saw this with this woman," remarked another. "My fear is a civil war, just really more escalation. […] What we are seeing is similar to Nazi Germany, you know, similar to 100 years ago. And sadly, there was only one way to defeat them," said an attendee. 37-year-old mother of three, Renee Good, was shot and killed by an ICE agent on Wednesday night. Federal officials defended the shooting. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem called Good's actions an 'act of domestic terrorism', claiming she 'weaponised her vehicle' to target federal agents. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said Good was 'very disorderly' in a post on his Truth Social platform, claiming she was 'obstructing and resisting' and that she 'violently, wilfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer'. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz hit back, saying, 'I've seen the video... Don't believe this propaganda machine. The state will ensure there is a full, fair and expeditious investigation to ensure accountability and justice.’ The FBI has taken over the investigation into the incident and revoked Minnesota's access to the materials."
