Allegations center around son’s wrestling meet Fighting Irish deny any wrongdoing by coach Notre Dame have denied wrongdoing by Marcus Freeman after the school’s head football coach was accused of battery. The South Bend Tribune reported on Sunday that Chris Fleeger, an assistant wrestling coach for New Prairie High School, had filed a police report over an incident at a meet on 3 January. According to the report, police and school officials had to separate the Freemans from Fleeger, as Freeman’s wife Joanna had a shouting match with the wrestling coach.
