MANILA, Philippines — No widespread rain is expected in the country on Monday, Jan. 12, the state weather bureau said. “At present, we don’t see any widespread rains in any part of the country,” said Aldczar Aurelio, weather specialist at the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), in a public forecast. “However, isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in parts of Visayas and Mindanao due to localized thunderstorms,” he added.
