LUCENA CITY — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has suspended operations of small vessels in northern Quezon province due to rough seas starting Sunday afternoon, Jan. 11. In advisories issued Sunday and Monday, the PCG station in northern Quezon, based in Real, cited a weather bulletin from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration. The bulletin warned that strong to gale-force winds from the northeast monsoon are affecting or expected to affect coastal areas of General Nakar.
