Police have been called to an address in the Palmerston North suburb of Highbury in response to a serious incident. A police spokesperson said officers were called to the address on Pioneer Highway about 3.15pm. “A cordon is in place around Pioneer Highway, between Cardiff Street and Botanical Road, and members of the public are asked to avoid the area.” Further information will be provided when it becomes available.
