Ormoc City orders hospital to vacate amid alleged indigency program violations

TACLOBAN CITY — The Ormoc City government has formally terminated its 25-year agreement with Ormoc Maternity and Children’s Hospital Inc. (OMCH), ordering the facility to vacate city-owned property within five days following alleged violations of indigency and charitable service requirements. In a letter dated Jan. 7, signed by City Administrator Vince Emnas and addressed to Dr. Marilee B.
