Volta Region’s largest rest stop, The Royal Shekinah City, has officially been opened in Sogakope, marking a major boost for travellers, tourism, and local employment along the busy Sogakope–Aflao highway. The facility, which is the realisation of a long-held dream by its Executive Director, Maxwell Amekpor, is expected to provide much-needed relief for motorists on the stretch while creating jobs for residents of Sogakope and surrounding communities.
