NegOr police chief relieved amid probe into Sibulan killings

BACOLOD CITY—The Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOrPPO) director was administratively relieved from his post on Monday, Jan. 12, following a policeman’s shooting of three police officers and a civilian in Sibulan town on Friday, the Philippine National Police–Negros Island Region (PNP-NIR) announced. According to PNP-NIR, Police Col. Criscent Tiguelo was relieved effective immediately in line with command responsibility and established PNP procedures.
