Salaga South MP takes Ghana’s child rights agenda to global CRC session in Geneva

The Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, is pushing Ghana’s child rights agenda onto the global stage, as she participates in the 100th Session of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in Geneva, Switzerland. On the sidelines of the high-level meeting, the MP paid a working visit to the headquarters of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), where she engaged officials on strengthening parliamentary cooperation and advancing child welfare policies. The visit forms part of Ghana’s broader efforts to deepen international partnerships around the protection and development of children.
