The French Alps are famous for their skiing, but perhaps less so for their sled dogs. The mountains are currently hosting a global reference in the mushing world: La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin. The race was launched 21 years ago and attracts some 60 mushers and their 600 sled dogs, who cover over 400 mountainous kilometres. The president of the Grande Odyssée Royal Canin, Annabel Kam, tells us what we can look forward to.
