Marcos OKs Batangas, Iloilo special economic zones — Recto

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has signed two proclamations for the expansion and creation of special economic zones (ecozones) in Batangas and Iloilo, which are projected to attract P2.05 billion in investments and create more than 4,000 new jobs. Under Proclamation No. 1127, four parcels of land in Barangays Pagaspas and Trapiche in Tanauan City, Batangas, are transformed and integrated into the existing First Industrial Township–Special Economic Zone (FIT-SEZ).
