Douglas Flint will take over as Prudential's new chair in May. He replaces Shriti Vadera, who is stepping down after five years. Flint brings extensive experience from his time at HSBC and Aberdeen Group. Vadera guided Prudential's strategic shift towards Asia and Africa. The company recently announced a 1.2 billion dollar share buyback.
