PNP sends tracker teams to arrest Atong Ang over missing sabungeros

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) has mobilized tracker teams for the implementation of warrants for the arrest of businessman Charlie “Atong” Ang and others for the death of several sabungeros (cockfighting enthusiasts), PNP acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said on Wednesday. The Sta. Cruz Laguna Regional Trial Court Branch 26 ordered the arrest of Ang, who is facing three counts of kidnapping and serious illegal detention and kidnapping with homicide.
