Colombo High Court Judge Mohamed Mihal today issued a warrant for the arrest of former Minister Wimal Weerawansa, who has been named as a defendant in a case filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, over allegations of unlawfully acquiring assets worth over Rs. 75 million, due to his failure to appear before court.
