The Enforcement Directorate has approached the Supreme Court regarding searches conducted at Pratik Jain's residence and office. Consequently, the ED requested the Calcutta High Court to adjourn related petitions. The Trinamool Congress stated its aim was data protection. The Chief Minister's lawyer objected to the adjournment plea.
