The Bombay High Court has ruled that a negative RTPCR report cannot be the sole reason to deny COVID-19 compensation. The court directed the Ahilyanagar district collector to process a Rs 50 lakh insurance claim for a health worker's widow. Medical reports, including CT scans and cause of death certificates, indicated COVID-19 infection.
